About Eleais
Eleais is a Pokémon Region created specifically for this roleplay. It is based around how the games work so it is separated into different towns and cities all connected by different routes. Each town, city, or island is different and unique in its own way. Each section of the region was named for the type of Pokémon that was most common in the area.
Aer Island
Roughly translates to 'Air Island', this island is known for its unique shape and gorgeous atmosphere. It houses a Flying Type gym.
Aqua City
Translates to 'Water City.' This city is extremely unique because it is almost completely submerged underwater. It is protected by a glass dome surrounding a majority of it, and air is continuously pumped in to make it a liveable area. It functions like a rather normal city, everything is grounded and the actual city itself does not feel wet at all, therefore you can not swim around unless there is a pool. There is an elevator on route seven that takes you down into the city. Team Mystic's Headquarters are located here, the top half just out of the water. There is also a Water Type based gym. You can always see water type Pokémon and other ocean dwelling creatures swimming about if you look up or look outside of the glass globe. The second largest of the four cities, equal in size to Ignis City.
Draco Island
Translates to 'Dragon Island.' This island is round in shape and has a small city built upon it. It has a Dragon Type Gym, and the Pokémon Colosseum, where Eleais's Pokémon League takes place, and where trainers can go to practice against each other.
Fae Forest
Roughly translates to 'Fairy Forest.' This forest is beautiful but dense and easy to get lost in. A lot of wild Pokémon can be found here, and the Meadows are just a wonderful place to go and have a picnic.
Glacies Town
Roughly translates to 'Ice Town.' It is a town always covered in ice and snow, built upon a mountain. There is an Ice Type Gym here.
Herba City
Roughly translates to 'Grass City.' The smallest of the four cities in Eleais. It is a gorgeous very green and modern city. There are plants everywhere. Herba City prides itself on cleanliness and clean air. The Professors all have their laboratory here in one large building, and Herba also proudly has a Grass Type gym.
Ignis City
Translates to 'Fire City.' This is the second largest of the four cities in Eleais equal to Aqua City. The buildings all have a red or orange glow to them that make them look like they're on fire. The sky almost always looks like its full of flames, here. There is a Fire Type gym here. Team Valor makes their home here with their Headquarters.
Petram Town
Roughly translates to 'Rock Town.' This town is unique because it is built into the side of the mountain that Glacies Town is on top of, and therefore all of the buildings are made out of rock. It is probably one of the smallest towns. However, there is a Rock Type gym to be found here.
Sanctus Caves
Translates to 'Ghost Caves.' The caves just outside of Tempestatis City that are the only known pathway into Tenebris Town other than taking the Train. They are very pretty, but at the same time, dark. Many trainers do not dare to enter - for the only thing that will great them on the other side is the fear inducing Tenebris Town.
Tempestatis City
Roughly translates to 'Storm City.' Sometimes just called Tempest City. There is always a lightning storm going on in the sky above this city, and the clouds are always dark. The people who live here are accustomed to the loud booms and rumbles of thunder. Despite the lightning and thunder being so common, it doesn't rain extremely often. The city's architecture is very industrial, and although usually rather gray, there is plenty of glowing yellow to be seen within the city as well. Although it is loud and definitely not for everyone, and can even spook some, the people who do live in the city find the rumbles of thunder to be soothing, and enjoy a stormy day anywhere else. There is an Electric Type gym here. Also, Team Instinct calls Tempestatis home with their Headquarters being located here. This is the largest of the four cities.
Tenebris Town
Roughly translates to 'Dark Town.' This town is the type of town that a lot of people don't want to be in. It's dark and can be considered scary. It is almost always night and is very dimly lit. The only light usually seen is from the constant glow of the moon. Many of the buildings look medieval style, or old and decrepit. There is a Dark Type/Ghost Type Gym located here, located on a hill so it's bathed in the almost ethereal and ghostly light of the moon. Team Rocket has their Headquarters here, in one of the dark corners of town.
Terra Town
Translates to 'Earth Town.' This is where many young trainers make their start. It is a very normal small town, where everyone knows everyone. There is no gym here, but there is still a Pokémon Center.
